Gasto-surgical dietitian
Morgan joined the Colchester team in October 2013 and has worked as a gastro-surgical dietitian since December 2014. She is the hospital’s lead dietitian for inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and holds weekly outpatient clinics providing dietary advice to newly-diagnosed patients as well as those who are experiencing complications or flare ups. She also supports IBD patients who have been admitted to the wards.
Morgan completed her four-year BSc in nutrition and dietetics at King’s College in London and qualified in 2012. Prior to moving to Essex, she worked for St George’s Hospital and Imperial College Healthcare, both in London.
Morgan is a member of the British Dietetic Association and treasurer of the East of England branch.
