Mr Vasudevan graduated in India in 1999. He completed his basic surgical training in London and embarked on a period of clinical research into pelvic floor disorders at Royal London Hospital. This led to an MD award from the University of London. He has presented his research in national and international meetings. He did his higher speciality and laparoscopic training in the London deanery. Mr Vasudevan was appointed as a consultant to Colchester Hospital in 2014. He is the Trust cancer lead clinician at Colchester hospital. He also has a special interest in pelvic floor disorders and has successfully started a dedicated joint pelvic floor clinic with physiotherapists, and anorectal manometry services at Colchester. He is the founder and chair of the Eastern division of the pelvic floor society. He is married to a consultant haematologist and they have 2 children. His interests include cricket, travelling and music.
