Jennie Lancaster-Jones
Medical PA and IBD MDT co-ordinator
Jennie started working in the NHS in 2004 and has worked in health records and endoscopy admissions until joining the gastroenterology team in 2010. Jennie works as a personal assistant for both the IBD CNS team and Dr Mary McStay, having gained a BTEC Apprenticeship in Business and Administration Level 3 in 2013 through the Trust. Jennie’s role includes coordinating and attending the monthly IBD MDT meeting at Colchester General and also the IBD teleconference meeting with the Royal London Hospital. She also coordinates and assists in the organisation of regular patient group meetings for both patients with Crohn’s and ulcerative colitis and neuroendocrine tumours, assisting in the promotion of disease awareness.
